As I was read this book I had a picture of Charlie in my head. In my head , he was a medium height , awkward , cute kid. Attached is a picture of what I think the author wanted him to look like.

News article
This book reminded me off the news a while back about boys being molested. The link is attached http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/national/boy-scouts-of-america-molestation-sex-scandal-files-eight-palm-beach-county-men-on-blacklist
Mixed emotion
I'm not so sure if I like this book. It seemed too fast for me. I didn't really understand much of it. But then again it wasn't a terrible book because it wasn't so boring.

Finished
I just finished perks of being a wallflower. I'm actually really confused. I had to re read the end multiple times but I got it! Aunt Helen wasn't a saint... She molested him! I wasn't expecting any of that
Outcast Charlie
Ever since the party, it seems that Charlie is an outcast and he now examines everything about life. He has been avoiding people and that's scary because that's what people that have suicidal thoughts do
Charlie and his sister
At the begging of the book I didn't think Charlie and his sister got along to well. But now as the book progresses they seem closer than ever. Charlie was nice enough to be there for her sister when she found out she was pregnant. That's one good brother.
Charlie doesn't seem so smart
Charlie may be intelligent , but he does before he thinks. At this party he was dared to kiss the prettiest girl in the room. His girlfriend was right beside him and he chooses to kiss another girl. That's terrible. Why would someone do that??
