What does Charlie look like

As I was read this book I had a picture of Charlie in my head. In my head , he was a medium height , awkward , cute kid. Attached is a picture of what I think the author wanted him to look like.

News article

This book reminded me off the news a while back about boys being molested. The link is attached http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/national/boy-scouts-of-america-molestation-sex-scandal-files-eight-palm-beach-county-men-on-blacklist

Mixed emotion

I'm not so sure if I like this book. It seemed too fast for me. I didn't really understand much of it. But then again it wasn't a terrible book because it wasn't so boring.

Finished

I just finished perks of being a wallflower. I'm actually really confused. I had to re read the end multiple times but I got it! Aunt Helen wasn't a saint... She molested him! I wasn't expecting any of that

Outcast Charlie

Ever since the party, it seems that Charlie is an outcast and he now examines everything about life. He has been avoiding people and that's scary because that's what people that have suicidal thoughts do

Charlie and his sister

At the begging of the book I didn't think Charlie and his sister got along to well. But now as the book progresses they seem closer than ever. Charlie was nice enough to be there for her sister when she found out she was pregnant. That's one good brother.

Charlie doesn't seem so smart

Charlie may be intelligent , but he does before he thinks. At this party he was dared to kiss the prettiest girl in the room. His girlfriend was right beside him and he chooses to kiss another girl. That's terrible. Why would someone do that??

Aunt Helen

As the book progresses I start to see how much Aunt Helen means to Charlie. I feel bad for him. I haven't had a really close person to my heart pass away and I can't imagine what's it would be like for him. Especially because he was so young when it happened. It seems like Charlie was like Aunt Helen's side kick. He was always there for her and she was always there for him and they were related but at the same time bestfriends. His relation ship is like mine with my grandmother. We are really close and I can't go a day without talking to her for atleast 10 minutes straight.

Charlie

Now I am starting to learn more about Charlie an he really does cry alot , and it's weird. Him and his aunt Helen were really close and it turns out she died In a car wreck. I always wondered why Charlie would get so upset talking about his grandmother but I guess it's because it happened on his birthday. Yep! She died on his birthday. You know what's even more weird? The last thing she said before she left was I'm gonna go get your present Charlie. That's terrible , I can't imagine how Charlie feels. Him and his family aren't very close. Aunt Helen was the only person I'm his family that was close to his heart. His brother and sister fight alot, his mom is mostly quiet, and his dad is just a father figure in the house but is also emotional like Charlie. So far I like the book. I still don't know who he's writing to , maybe the author made it so he is writing letters to the reader. I'm not sure.
